 Emptied fuel filter and 90% water. Purchased 5 gallons from gas station to get me to fuel dock. Added 16 gallons at gas dock.  Engine ran up to 4100 RPMs out to 695 bridge. Shut down engine and restarted. … Continue reading

Day 8 working on carbs and fuel pump


 Rebuilt fuel pump, installed new floats, needle valves and seats. Reinstalled and cleaned everything.

Day 7 on the water


 Started the day changing fuel filter on whaler which was almost all water. Engine ran very smooth after replacing filter. However, Outboard would only rev to 3100 and 25knts.
