Marmalade, a Ron Holland Kiwi 30 IOR 1/2 tonner, was my boat prior to Morning Star. We raced on the Chesapeake Bay (SMSA and BCYA) in PHRF C with ratings from 168 to 156 and during her final year sailing in 1996 we won CBYRA High Point in Region II (we actually had the third highest score for all boats racing in region I, II or III.) Unfortunately, Marmalade’s sailing career ended when a delivery truck ran into her at Lighthouse Point Marina in Baltimore. Her mast and rigging were destroyed. If anyone is interested in bringing her back to life just send me an email. She is in storage in Delta, PA.
