     Used about 50 wire ties for the installation. Working great so far. 

           Discovered both ground wires were lose  when I removed the battery covers. 

 After finishing the race at midnight, it took another 1 1/2 hours to sail and motor back to PSA for a post race breakfast at the clubhouse. 



 Fixed: stern light connections. Fuel leak on top carb 90 degree elbow  Cleaned up misc wires under dash Disconnected rectifier in quest to eliminate electricial faults Adjusted timing again

 Emptied fuel filter and 90% water. Purchased 5 gallons from gas station to get me to fuel dock. Added 16 gallons at gas dock.  Engine ran up to 4100 RPMs out to 695 bridge. Shut down engine and restarted. … Continue reading →

 Rebuilt fuel pump, installed new floats, needle valves and seats. Reinstalled and cleaned everything. 

 Started the day changing fuel filter on whaler which was almost all water. Engine ran very smooth after replacing filter. However, Outboard would only rev to 3100 and 25knts.
